A "Short" Story by Zachary Weber age 7 as dictated
Please note only this early piece is on this website. The remainder of Zach's Writing is at "Immortal Soul, reflections on life and death from the notebooks of Zachary Weber." He still blesses us through his incredible gifts!
This story began as storytelling during a car ride. Later Zach, age 7, dictated it to me. I was quite involved in the process, asking him questions, prodding him to tell it so that it made sense to me, getting rid of parts that didn't really keep to the point of the story, deciding what the point of the story was, etc. Lots of suggestions on my part but it always remained "his" story. At the end of the school year, it was published in Scribbles (A Collection of Writing from the Greene County Homeschoolers, Volume 1, May 1995)
