About Alexa
Alexa Andrzejewski is the Founder and CEO of Foodspotting, a visual guide to good food and where to find it. Foodspotting, a venture-backed product, was named a Hot Trend of 2010 by iTunes and one of Time Magazine’s 50 Best Websites of 2010.
Before launching Foodspotting in January 2010, Alexa was a User Experience Designer for Adaptive Path, where she helped both startups and worldwide enterprises reimagine products from the ground up. Following in the footsteps of Adaptive Path colleagues who’ve started their own UX-driven ventures, Alexa looks forward to exercising her interest in how companies can achieve business goals and improve people’s lives by appealing to people's motivations and needs.
Alexa strives to advance experience-minded thinking and tools through speaking and teaching. Recent appearances include WebVisions, Big Omaha, SXSW, and the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco and New York.
