lively little lizards,

living on the sand.

also little mammals,

“Hey, mr. pocketmouse, won’t you

Jump into my hand?”

Tiny little elf owl,

In the canyon night,

Do you see the gila monster,

Orange and black so bright?


You like your desert homes of

cactus spikes and sandy dunes!
